Hunger cue conclusion...

Well, the 20 minutes of waiting for fullness cues came and went after I had eaten my supper, and my stomach was still rumbling. I needed a little snack to keep me happy and full for the remainder of the night, so I had a serving of all-bran with 1/2 cup of milk and a small handful of raisins. I'm now comfortably content, and ready to go off and read a good book for a while. It's such a nice feeling to be done homework for the night. :D

Thanks for the response :)

Quick question, when I am studying and have a glass of water or tea, it takes me a while to drink it and it kinda gets dusty. What do you drink from when you are studying?

Also did you cook the oatmeal in that little ramkein- I always need large bowls or it spills over!

lisa---For water, when I'm home I'll pour single serving cups and just keep getting up and refilling as the day wears on (it's a nice excuse to break away from the computer for a while and helps wake me up :) When I'm at classes, though, I'll keep a 32 oz. nalgene bottle in my backpack, while keeping a 16 oz. bottle in my car for the ride there and back. I like having that set amount of water for the morning and afternoon, because its a way for me to make sure I'm staying hydrated.

As far as teas, I'll drink from a regular mug, but when I'm running around a lot, traveling, or want to keep it warmer, I absolutely LOVE the "tea tumbler." I got it as a gift, but I've seen them at EMS, Dicks, and various other sporting good stores.

I did cook the oatmeal in the 10 oz. ramekin, but that wouldn't have worked for one of my "regular" bowls of oatmeal. This one was a packet, which went in for only about 45 seconds. It was starting to puff up by the end of its cooking time, but no spills (thank goodness! that's happened to me on countless occasions with other bowls, and its no fun cleaning up! hah.)
