Beautiful morning!

It was so nice to wake up to the sun shining this morning! It meant two things: 1) the weather had cleared up (no more icy rain!) and 2) that I had actually slept in a little later! ha...normally I wake up with it still being dark out, but I decided to take an extra hour this morning and sleep in a little.

Breakfast was 1.5 cups of Kashi Heart to Heart with a cup of 1% milk, and a big bowl of fruit salad on the side. The pineapple is absolutely perfect, and I'm enjoying the different fruits that I don't really eat all too often. :)

Oh, and Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day
February 14, 2008

Along with Cupids, hearts and flowers, one thing is synonymous with Valentine’s Day: Chocolate.

Among South American tribes, chocolate was considered a food of the gods; for many people, it remains just that. With planning, chocolate can fit healthfully into anyone’s Valentine’s Day plans.

The fat in chocolate is a combination of saturated and unsaturated fat and does not appear to increase blood cholesterol levels. Even so, chocolate contains calories, so eat it in moderation.
