Bright and Early!

Just a quick and easy breakfast for this morning as well!! I had 1 cup of Kashi Heart to Heart, 1 cup of Kashi 7-Grain Puffed Cereal, 1 medium banana, and 1 cup of milk...

The good news is that after tomorrow's exam, the rest of the week is looking pretty laid-back and much slower, with the following week being my spring vacation! woohoo!! :D I can hardly wait...

Off to get some work done before the busy day! :)

Thanks so much! I guess, I didn't mean hunger snacking as much as how to you prevent yourself from boredom snacking- like gum, lifesavers, drinks, etc.

Also, I know you use frozen fruit a lot this morning I did in my oatmeal, how do you prevent it from getting so watery! Thanks!

Looks like another delicious start to an early day - I love the mixture of Kashi cereals that you had! Yum!

Best of luck with your examination tomorrow!!

emma---Thankfully I went to bed earlier too, so at least I wasn't dragging today! Although a coffee sounded pretty good this afternoon, but I was able to hold off...:D

beth---For boredom snacking, I definitely drink a lot of teas! I like mixing up the flavors for what I'm in the mood for, but peppermint tea is my absolute favorite late night drink...

The 100-calorie popcorn bags are great too! You get a lot of volume for what you're actually eating, which makes for a nice snack that lasts. :)

For the frozen fruit, did you dethaw it overnight in a bowl? I find that making a thick batch of oatmeal (less water or milk, depending on how you like it), it adds back just the right amount of moisture for a nice consistency. You can keep heating it for a bit to let it thicken some more as well...

OR, if there happens to be a lot of water in the berries, you could even drain it a bit in a colander, by placing a paper towel down, and pouring the berries on top to get some excess moisture out. Hope this helps a little!!

veggiegirl---Thanks!! :) :)
